worldwide are working on the development of a variety of different
genetically modified crops.

Not all corn, rice, tomato and rape plants
are genetically modified. Yet, genetically modified
(GM) crops may be found in different places around the
world. However GM rice and tomatoes have not yet been
approved for sale Europe.
Genetic modification is complex and takes
many years. It is not yet possible to genetically modify
